Position Summary:      

Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology, APA-accredited Combined School-Clinical Child Psychology Program: CLINICAL ASSOCIATE or FULL PROFESSOR 

The Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology  at Yeshiva University  is seeking an experienced Associate or Full Professor for its School-Clinical Child Psychology Program to teach and to develop a terminal master’s in school psychology program. The position is a 3-year, renewable, clinical faculty appointment beginning August 1, 2024. 

Position Responsibilities:

We are looking for an outstanding candidate with training and scholarship in school psychology. The position will involve: (a) graduate teaching in areas of assessment and consultation, (b) related program responsibilities, and (b) directing the master’s in school psychology program once created. Ferkauf encourages applications from women, Black, Indigenous, People of Color (BIPOC), protected persons and others committed to a diverse community that expands our teaching and research mission. 

Experience & Educational Background:

Applicants with graduate teaching and advising, as well as school-based experience, are sought. The candidate should be a licensed psychologist or license-eligible in New York State.

Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology is located on Yeshiva University's Resnick Campus approximately 7 miles from Manhattan, New York.  The School-Clinical Child Program is an APA-accredited and NASP-approved Doctor of Psychology Program. Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology offers three APA-accredited doctoral programs: Clinical PsyD, School-Clinical Child PsyD and Clinical PhD with an emphasis on Health Psychology, as well as an MA in Mental Health Counseling, MS in Marriage and Family Therapy, and MA in Special Education. The Max and Celia Parnes Family Psychological and Psychoeducational Services Clinic is the training center of the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and offers low-cost, state-of-the-art mental health services for children, adolescents, adults, couples and families in the Bronx and the Greater New York City area, especially those who cannot otherwise afford or access these services within the community.
