SBDC Business Research Assistant (Student)

This position is working for the UAA Small Business Development Center to assist with the Neoserra database data entry to ensure that all required information is captured for accurate reporting as required.

To thrive in this role, the student must have good attention to detail.

  • Google Workspace Apps (Gmail, drive, calendar, meet.)
  • Experience working with Adobe Creative Suite and creating fillable PDF forms
  • Internet research
  • Experience with relational databases and an understanding of creating and running queries
  • Analytical skills
  • Ability to show attention to detail and timeliness in completing assigned tasks.
  • Ability to use computerized tools to organize and analyze information and report findings.
  • Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Dependable and able to work independently with minimal supervision

Minimum Qualifications:

High school diploma/ GED and full-time enrollment at UAA.

Position Details:

This position is not on the University of Alaska Anchorage campus, but is located at SBDC office, 1901 Bragaw Street. This is a part-time student assistant position and is eligible for remote working. 

This is a pooled position, which means that the position remains open over the entire academic year or until a qualified candidate has been identified.
