Computer Lab Attendant

What you'll do in this position:

  • Assist students, staff, and faculty with computer, multimedia, and library needs.
  • Assist with the maintenance and repair of computer hardware and software.
  • Assist with duties of library circulation desk environment.

What qualifies you for this role:

Required

  • A firm commitment to the mission of BYU.
  • At least one year (part-time or full-time) computer support experience.

Skills, abilities, knowledge, licenses, certifications:

  • Required:  Proficient in basic computer operation, printing, and other computer peripherals.
  • Required:  Proficient with projectors, audio equipment and other associated multimedia equipment.
  • Required:  Proficient in computer software, especially with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Required:  Good computer troubleshooting skills.
  • Required:  Must have strong customer service skills.
  • Required:  Must work well under pressure.
  • Required:  Familiarity with library functions.
