The College of Architecture Design and Construction is actively seeking qualified candidates to fill the position of Rural Studio Construction Coordinator I, II. In this role, you will offer project planning and management support to the faculty of Rural Studio.

Essential Functions
  • Provides assistance to faculty regarding project organization, project design review, construction logistics planning and management, and construction phase on-site supervision of student teams for design-build projects.
  • Provides support to faculty with regard to project documentation and reporting.
  • Provides documentation and support to the Rural Studio faculty and College of Architecture Design and Construction development team regarding project funding and in-kind material solicitations and donations.
  • Serves as the on-site building supervisor and schedules materials and services for delivery.
  • Prepares curriculum and course plans for assigned classes.
  • Establishes daily job site activities and labor schedules.

Minimum Qualifications


Minimum Qualifications
Level I: Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline with no experience.
Typical salaries are between $39,000 – $43,600
Full salary range $34,400 – $48,200
Level II : Bachelor’s degree in appropriate discipline plus 2 years experience in instructing, building design and construction principles and practices, woodworking tools, and safety protocols.
Typical salaries are between $41,433 – $47,367
Full salary range $35,500 – $53,300

Minimum Skills, License, and Certifications


Minimum Skills and Abilities
Knowledge of International Building Code, Americans with Disabilities Act Design Guidelines, architectural design process and principles, and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations.
