Job Summary

Job Description
Provides administrative office management and support to Recovery & Premium Assistance (RPA) business processes and staff, as assigned by RPA Manager.
Processes and appropriately handles and reconciles revenue checks for Recovery cases, per established policy, procedures, and systems. Ensures security and confidentiality of checks, PHI (Protected Health Information), and PII (Personally Identifiable Information), according to established standards and guidelines. 
Serves as mail bin authority and main point of contact for mail and other correspondence entering and exiting the RPA Unit, including checks.  Processes correspondence sent through the US Postal Service, fax, or designated Medicaid email boxes.
Processes incoming provider requests for DSH approvals, in coordination with LDH’s Fiscal Department, LDH’s Appointed Authority approver, and LDH’s Fiscal Intermediary, per established standards and procedures.
Answers and screens calls/correspondence related to sensitive and confidential matters; determines and ensures proper routing for appropriate action.  Researches documentation and distributes appropriately; triages incoming requests and supports RPA staff’s caseload management, as assigned or directed by RPA Manager.
Communicate issues and pertinent information to supervisor, as necessary, through written and verbal communication.
Enters help desk tickets and serves as IT and equipment liaison for the RPA Unit, as needed.
Assist with the compilation of monthly productivity reports that track current projects, achievements, and future goals.
Assists with the process of documenting workflow, policies, and procedures for the RPA unit.
Creates and maintains paper and electronic filing systems for RPA Unit (i.e. personnel, records retention, databases, etc.), per established guidelines and schedules.
Performs duties as the assistant to the RPA Manager, in support of RPA operations including scheduling meetings, setting agendas, taking minutes, drafting directives, serving as the designee in meetings, etc. Responsible for maintaining the SharePoint site as the repository for all official information for RPA to include team information, policy, procedures, guidance, and forms. 
Performs other duties, as assigned, to assist with the management and operations of the RPA Unit. 
Other tasks as assigned.

Required Qualifications:


Bachelor’s degree, or Associate’s degree plus 3 years of professional experience, or 6 years of professional experience in lieu of degree.
Excellent analytical skills, effective organizational and time management skills.
Great attention to detail and follow up.
Excellent verbal/written communications skills.
Team and goal oriented.

Desired Qualifications:


Advanced degree.
Minimum one year of professional experience in bookkeeping, health care field, or Medicaid program support.
Minimum one year of professional experience in an administrative support role.
Minimum one year of professional experience documenting procedures/policies.
Minimum one year of professional experience with MS Office products.
