Position Highlights | University Facility Services is looking for an experienced Roofer (Roofer II) to join our team. Specifically, we are looking for an experienced, skilled and knowledgeable roofer to install, maintain, and repair a variety of roofing systems including: Self-Adhered, hot asphalt, cold -process, shingles, tile, single-ply, gravel and metal roofs. Good working knowledge of all aspects of the craft that will enable sound decision making at the job site. Working conditions may include extreme temperatures, and dirty, smelly, wet conditions. Requires frequent climbing and lifting. This position requires the candidate to come in during off hours if needed to repair roofs during monsoon storms. The ideal candidate will possess a confidence in and an enthusiasm for the roofing trade; and will have a good working knowledge of all aspects of the craft that will enable sound decision making at the job site. We are looking for a self-motivated employee who can hit the ground running. University Facility Services at the University of Arizona consists of over 650 employees and teamwork is our strength.
