Position Description:
Schedule: Monday-Friday Day Shift

Location: 176 Facility Building

Responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care provided to patients, both pediatric and adult, with congenital heart disease. Has specialized knowledge in the care of patients gained through formal education or several years of on the job training. Is autonomous regarding nursing interventions, acting as an accountable advocate for patients; works within their prescribed Health Services Foundation policy ad medical therapy. Coordinates activities with other members of the interdisciplinary team


Position Requirements:
EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

Required: Licensed Registered Nurse with 5 years of direct clinical experience

Preferred: Three (3) years of outpatient or inpatient clinical care of congenital heart disease patients

LICENSE, CERTIFICATION AND/OR REGISTRATION:

Required: Current Alabama RN license; current CPR certification or must be obtained within 30 days of employment
