**REVISED** American Sign Language Lecturer - Program in Linguistics

Location: Princeton, NEW JERSEY
The Program in Linguistics at Princeton University invites applications for one or more American Sign Language Lecturer positions to teach undergraduate courses in the 2024-25 academic year. The positions require in-person teaching, grading student work, and holding regular on-campus office hours. Appointments and position duty time are subject to enrollments, with the potential for renewal depending on departmental need and satisfactory performance. Positions are expected to begin September 1, 2024, or January 16, 2025. In exceptional cases, appointments may be made at the rank of Senior Lecturer.

The ideal candidates would be experienced ASL instructors who are native or near-native in ASL, have an extensive knowledge of Deaf culture, and have demonstrated excellence in undergraduate teaching.
