Job Summary
Serves as the resource and referral training specialist for the Mississippi Early Childhood Inclusion Center: Resource and Referral. Provides information to early childhood educators and families seeking information while providing support to MECIC.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities
Minimum Qualifications
Associates Degree from an accredited college or university in Early Childhood Education, Child and Family Sciences, or Early Childhood Special Education.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Adept in Microsoft Office.
- Skill in completing assignments accurately and with attention to detail.
- Ability to analyze, organize and prioritize work while meeting multiple deadlines.
- Ability to process and handle confidential information with discretion.
- Ability to work evenings, nights, and weekends, as necessary.
- Resourceful and determined to provide a positive experience for others.
- Must have excellent communication skills and the ability to be compassionate and empathetic while working with a diverse population.
- Must maintain currency on relevant research, professional certifications, and continuing education.
Preferred Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree preferred and 1 to 3 years related experience and/or training in early childhood inclusion.
