The Adult Aging Brain Connectome Project seeks to characterize functional and physical aspects of the human brain across the age span.
The position is currently funded through June 30, 2026. Available to start immediately.
Responsibilities
ï‚· Administer study protocols, including online cognitive and behavioral assessments and acquire in-person samples and data and MRI data.
ï‚· Administer study paperwork including screening for MRI safety and participant consent.
ï‚· Screen participants for eligibility and schedule participants for their appointments.
ï‚· Responsible for the safety and comfort of participants in the scanning environment.
ï‚· Acquire data in older adults of all ages.
ï‚· Other duties as assigned.

All required qualifications must be documented on application materials.
Required Qualifications:
ï‚· B.S. or B.A. in the humanities, communication or science, technology, engineering, or neuroscience or a combination of education and experience to equal four years.
ï‚· Experience working with technology.
ï‚· Able to take turns on team working evenings and at least 2 out of 4 weekends.
ï‚· Must be capable of sitting long periods of time during data acquisition.
ï‚· Must not have metal implants or be dependent upon devices that are incompatible with magnetic field.
ï‚· Able to verbally communicate clearly.
ï‚· Adequate hearing and vision to communicate with subjects and assess MRI image quality.
ï‚· Willingness to groom and dress in a manner that is respectful to research subjects and willingness to remove jewelry that is incompatible with magnetic field.
Preferred Qualifications:
ï‚· Strongly prefer experience in research with human participants.
ï‚· Strongly prefer volunteer or professional experience working with older adults.
ï‚· Willing to work more than 2 out of 4 weekends.
ï‚· Experience with calling customers or candidates.
ï‚· Experience conducting telephone interviews.
ï‚· Ability to follow a protocol and maintain professional rapport with human subjects of all ages.
ï‚· Ability to take initiative to solve problems as they arise.
ï‚· Detail oriented with strong organizational skills.
ï‚· Ability to divide attention among multiple responsibilities.
ï‚· Experience using instrumentation to acquire data.
ï‚· Ability to use software to operate equipment.
ï‚· 1- year phlebotomy experience, graduation from an accredited phlebotomy program, or willingness to learn basic venipuncture.
