Position Summary
The Research Technologist will assist with and support experiments in the lab focusing on the obligate intracellular bacterium, Chlamydia, including cell culture and infections, molecular biology assays (i.e., cloning), RT-qPCR, and other assays as needed. Training will be provided. The Research Technologist will also manage and maintain general lab inventories and ordering and other duties as needed.

Preferred Education: Master's degree or equivalent

One or more years’ experience in research laboratory environment with preference to experience in bacteriology, microbiology, and/or molecular biology.
