Position Summary
Under the direction of the laboratory investigator, the Research Technologist I will conduct experiments, manage research endeavors, and analyze results according to established protocols within a fast-paced laboratory dedicated to studying insect and tick molecular biology. Responsibilities include designing and executing experiments, interpreting, and organizing data, and offering recommendations crucial for project and lab success. The Research Technologist will also maintain general lab inventories and ordering and other duties as needed.

Preferred Education: Master's degree or equivalent

Preferred Experience:
One or more years’ experience in research laboratory environment with preference to experience in insect biology, vector biology, microbiology, molecular biology or related scientific field.
