Job Description Summary	The University of South Alabama’s department Chemical and Biomolecular Engineering is seeking to hire a Research Technologist I. Interested candidates should apply to be considered.

Essential Functions

These are the job duties required of the position.

Essential Functions	Performs thermophysical property measurement and analysis including: operation of differential scanning calorimeter, rheometer, pure and multicomponent phase equilibria measurement, measurement of thermal degradation, and data and modeling of the above. Performs chemical synthesis in aqueous media. Works cooperatively with other in a dynamic research environment, specifically in a chemical engineering research lab. Prepares oral presentation and written reports. Regular and prompt attendance. Ability to work schedule as defined and overtime as required. Related duties as required.
