Position Summary

The Department of Microbiology and Immunology at the UNC School of Medicine is recruiting for a Research Technician Position. The successful candidate will participate in research activities in the Rosenthal Laboratory. The objective of this position is to serve as a Research Technician in the Rosenthal Lab. The lab is focused on understanding the regulation and role of specialized bacterial cells in infection. We require personnel to assist with assays that measure the extent of cell to cell heterogeneity in bacterial cultures using molecular biology and microscopic techniques. These measurements are used to elucidate mechanisms of virulence and antibiotic tolerance.
