Position Summary | The Department of Genetics is looking for a Research Technician to be part of a team of researchers working on projects to analyze bioinformatic and clinical data in a new lab. The successful candidate will work closely with experts in computer science, bio-informatics, data analytics, and machine learning to define computable phenotypes and reveal molecular mechanisms of rare diseases. |
Minimum Education and Experience Requirements | Demonstrated possession of the competencies necessary to perform the work. |
Required Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Experience with data analysis and/or coding skills is strongly preferred. Demonstrated communication skills (verbal, written, and graphical) are highly desired. |
Preferred Qualifications, Competencies, and Experience | Research experience in computer science, bio-informatics, biology, mathematics, or a related field. |
