Posting Summary
Assist with design and implementation of advanced research experiments in the area of coagulation/fibrinolysis with minimal supervision and perform complex data analyses; assist with assay development and implementation, provide biostatistics support, develop standard operating and equipment operating protocols, assist with Quality Control reporting.
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience)
Master’s degree in Statistics/Biostatistics required, and three to five years’ related wet lab experience required.
Desirable Qualifications
Assay development/optimization experience, QC/QA knowledge, Coagulation/Fibrinolysis knowledge.
Other Information
there are only funds available for this position for one year, with an opportunity to continue if grant funding is secured by supervisor to continue the position.
Special Conditions Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Contingent on continued funding, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position

Payband Min (Represents full-time (12 months, 1.0 FTE) equivalent salary. Must be prorated for jobs less than 12 months or 1.0FTE (Salary/12 x # of months x FTE)) 42100.00
Staff Hiring Band Hiring salary budgeted at mid to high end of pay band
Union Position Yes, UVMSU ($20 minimum hourly rate)
