Posting Summary | Assist with design and implementation of advanced research experiments in the area of coagulation/fibrinolysis with minimal supervision and perform complex data analyses; assist with assay development and implementation, provide biostatistics support, develop standard operating and equipment operating protocols, assist with Quality Control reporting. |
Minimum Qualifications (or equivalent combination of education and experience) | Master’s degree in Statistics/Biostatistics required, and three to five years’ related wet lab experience required. |
Desirable Qualifications | Assay development/optimization experience, QC/QA knowledge, Coagulation/Fibrinolysis knowledge. |
Other Information | there are only funds available for this position for one year, with an opportunity to continue if grant funding is secured by supervisor to continue the position. |
Special Conditions | Bargaining unit position, External candidates must complete a 4-month probationary period, Contingent on continued funding, A probationary period may be required for current UVM employees, Background Check required for this position |
