Job Summary

This research staff position will be responsible for designing, constructing, and evaluating a new quantum-enhanced sensing platform for the study of wall-bounded flows and their transition to turbulence. The responsibilities will also include design, construction, and evaluation of a new device to control canonical plane Couette, plane Poiseuille, and Hagen-Poiseuille flows at low, transitional, and high Reynolds numbers. Finally, the responsibilities will include development of new theoretical and computational tools to evaluate the linear and non-linear stability of canonical and non-canonical viscous shear flows.
