Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking a Research Project Manager for the The Education and Employment Research Center in the School of Management and Labor Relations.
Among the key duties of the position are the following:
  • Works closely with the EERC Director.
  • Conducts research, evaluation, dissemination.
  • Performs policy analysis pertaining to EERC’s areas of expertise, including non-degree credentials, noncredit education, workforce, economic development, STEM, and technician education.

Qualifications


Minimum Education and Experience
  • Master’s degree in public policy or a social science discipline.
  • Seven (7) years of professional policy analysis, research and evaluation experience. Five (5) of the seven years should include project management experience.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Ability to demonstrate strong attention to detail.
  • Expertise working with community colleges, noncredit education, economic development, and/or workforce development.
  • Excellent writing and communication abilities to a wide range of audiences.
  • Experience with qualitative research and/or policy analysis.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills and strong interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Established relationships with external organizations in the field of education and workforce.
