Job Summary:


The registered dietitian/licensed nutritionist will provide medical nutrition therapy in the homes of individuals living with type 2 diabetes.
The registered dietitian/licensed nutritionist will be responsible for providing tailored nutrition/dietary recommendations to families as well as collecting data on anthropometric measures. In addition, this individual will provide recommendations for appropriate physical activity using recommendations from the American Diabetes Association.
The registered dietitian/licensed nutritionist will be guided by his/her individual scope of practice, provide counseling, regimen adjustment, problem solving, and recognizing and prioritizing data. The registered dietitian/licensed nutritionist will engage in clinical and educational assessments to guide clinical decision-making.
The registered dietitian/licensed nutritionist will participate in appropriate training to maximize teaching and learning skills with a focus on analyzing, and evaluating in accordance with research study protocol. The registered dietitian/licensed nutritionist must demonstrate positivity and the ability to work collaboratively with an interdisciplinary team.

Registered Dietitian or Licensed Nutritionist

Preferred Education/Experience:


Bachelor's degree with three or more years of work history as a dietitian and/or nutritionist preferred.
