Cardiothoracic Vascular Surgery
This is a Casual status, nonexempt position; the candidate will work (less than 20 hours/week) with the Advanced Aortic Endovascular Research group assisting with regular audits of ongoing research studies. The main duties and scope are as assigned by the principal investigator and briefly entail - keeping the study up with the regulatory requirements of the FDA and Institutional Review Board, consenting, data collection, coordinating communication and documentation between sponsored projects office, clinical care team, and study sponsors, preparing progress reports for the FDA regulated studies, and preparing documents and database for study monitor visits.

Position Summary:
Assists with the day-to-day administrative project management and may provide scientific direction for research projects of considerable scope and complexity.

Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Working knowledge of MS Office.
Minimum Education:
Bachelor’s degree in a related field or relevant experience in lieu of education.

Physical Requirements:
Exerts up to 20 pounds of force occasionally and/or up to 10 pounds frequently and/or a negligible amount constantly to move objects.
This position may include work involving potentially hazardous chemical, biological or radioactive agents.

Residency Requirement:
Employees must permanently reside and work in the State of Texas.
