Responsibilities*

This position serves to support research in a fruit fly genetics lab that studies sleep, circadian rhythms and neurogenerative diseases. The specific tasks include preparing solutions and reagents, maintaining Drosophila stocks, glassware washing and sterilization, preparing behavioral food for rhythm assays, assisting graduate students and other researchers with lab duties and experiments.


Required Qualifications*

Some college education, preferably in Neuroscience. Excellent communication skills. Ability to follow instructions.


Work Schedule

6 to 12 hours per week


Work Locations

This position will be located in Evanston, IL on Northwestern's campus.
