Summary

Interpersonal Relationships, Emotion, and Personality (IREP) Lab at Dearborn is hiring three research assistant (RA) positions to work on research project focused on the use of artificial
intelligence (AI) in assessing human narratives. 

The position would require between 10-20 hours per week. 

RAs will complete training in two narrative coding systems, will read and rate narratives, and will enter numeric data into databases. Additionally, students will be involved in the process of using AI bots to rate narratives.


Required Qualifications*

Basic familiarity with database programs (e.g., SPSS; Excel), strong willingness to learn, receptivity to feedback and constructive criticism, experience working with narratives or collecting narratives, and completion of the following PEERRS modules: Human Subjects Research Protections. This PEERRS module may be completed after hire if necessary. 


Desired Qualifications*

In addition to the required qualifications, some familiarity with Artificial Intelligence preferred, but not required.
