USC’s Keck School of Medicine, Department of Medicine, is seeking a Research Associate.
The University of Southern California announces the availability of a full time grant funded Research Associate position to join Dr. Shan Luo and her research in the area of clinical neuroscience of obesity and diabetes.
Job Summary: A full time, grant funded Research Associate position is available within the Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology in the Laboratory of Brain Behavior and Big Data at the University of Southern California.
Responsibilities: The applicant with work with PI and collaborate with researchers using neuroimaging modalities, physiological, dietary, physical activity, cognitive, and behavioral assessments to investigate brain regulation of eating behavior. Individuals with experience in translational research involving multimodal neuroimaging analyses, statistics, nutrition, exercise physiology, neurocognition, and/or glucose metabolism are preferred.
Education and Experience Requirements:
- PhD in neuroscience, biological science, psychology or a closely related field
- Experience in human based research, neuroimaging data analysis, advanced statistical analysis
- Ability to analyze data and to write manuscripts
- Motivated, positive outlook and ability to troubleshoot
Rate Information:
This position will be Exempt and Hybrid-Flex.
The salary range for this position is $66,902 - $75,000
