Summary of Job Duties:
The Research Associate will support the work of the Office for Education Policy through data analysis and communication of results to stakeholders. Data analysis will include descriptive and statistical analyses using quantitative and qualitative methods. Communication to stakeholders includes creating written reports, data visualizations, and oral presentations of data and results.
Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution of higher education
Preferred Qualifications:
Master's degree from accredited institution of higher education
Experience working with public or private schools
At least two years of experience with Statistical programming software (Stata, SAS, R)
At least two years of experience in the use of Microsoft Word
At least two years of experience in the use of Microsoft Excel software
Experience creating data visualizations
Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities (KSAs):
Proficient skills conducting and interpreting statistical analysis using statistical programming software
Proficient skills with Microsoft Word
Proficient skills with Microsoft Excel
Strong written communication skills in English demonstrated by writing samples
Strong oral communication skills in English demonstrated through oral interview
Additional Information:
This position is renewable annually based on continued need for the position, availability of funding, and satisfactory job performance.
