The incumbent will support research in the OERC by reviewing policies, conducting literature reviews, and assisting in the preparation of reports. The individual will conduct basic survey, financial and statistical analyses. The individual will join the OERC team working to carry out data driven, evidence-based research and evaluation with a focus on the State of Ohio. The individual will support the team in the development and ongoing implementation of dashboards, scorecards, and clearinghouses for government entities. Additionally, the person in this role will provide administrative support related to the conduct of research studies, the administration of the Ohio Longitudinal Data Archive, and the operations of the Ohio Education Research Center.

Duties include:

Preparing tables, text, and figures for inclusion in reports under the direction of OERC staff. Gathering and cataloging information for inclusion in online clearinghouses and resource libraries. Assist in collecting and analyzing quantitative and qualitative data at a level of basic descriptive and inferential statistics. Provide administrative support (writing, scheduling) for OERC projects. Perform other duties as assigned

This is a grant funded term position with potential to be extended, based on funding and performance.


The salary range for this position will be $42,700-$56,900, to be determined by internal equity and the candidate's education and experience.


Minimum Required Qualification

Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Master's Degree preferred. 1-3 years of relevant experience required in higher education and/or economic development policy. 3-5 years of relevant experience preferred.
