Research Associate - Scientist in Molecular Structure-Function

Position Description:

Adicet Bio is seeking motivated individuals at Research Associate through Scientist levels to advance gamma delta CAR-T development by working at the interface of antibody discovery and cell therapy development. The ideal candidate will be creative, excited to learn, and enjoy working in a collaborative environment that provides huge growth potential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work collaboratively with teams across the Research department on new target development projects in immuno-oncology
    Development/optimization/execution of immune cell-based assays for in vitro functional studies, including T cell-based screening of CAR candidates
    Characterization of antibodies to tumor associated antigens (binding, specificity, epitope binning) using biophysical and cell-based assays
    Data generation, data analysis, and communication to immediate team and cross-functional teams

Qualifications:
  • BS or MS in Biology, Biochemistry, Immunology and related disciplines 
  • 1-5+ years of relevant academic and/or industry experience
  • Broad technical expertise working with antibodies and cell therapies is a plus
  • Hands-on tissue culture experience is required (maintaining cell lines, freezing and thawing cells, experience with primary cells is a plus)
  • Experience with cell-based assays such as T cell proliferation, activation, in vitro cytotoxicity assays 
  • Hands-on experience with multi-color flow cytometry 
  • Hands-on experience with fluorescence and luminescence-based readouts using a plate reader
  • Experience characterizing antigen-antibody binding by ELISA/Octet/SPR/Flow cytometry is a plus
  • Experience with immune cell phenotyping using high dimensional mass-cytometry (CyToF)/CyToF analysis is a plus
  • Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
