Position Summary | The Lennon lab (https://lennonlab.github.io/ ) seeks a motivated and curious Research Associate to work on projects related to microbiology, ecology, and evolution. The Research Associate will work on projects related to dormancy (sporulation), phage infection, and plant-microbe associations. Ideal candidate will have experience with microbiological techniques including cultivation, genetics, microscopy, and analysis of sequence data. The position is initially available for 12 months with possibility for renewal in subsequent years based on satisfactory performance. Anticipated start date is May 1, 2024 but negotiable. Salary will be commensurate with experience. Full benefits are included. Indiana University has a large and interactive group at the interface of ecology, evolution, and microbiology. Basic Qualifications | Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Microbiology, or related field; experience conducting experiments and analyzing data. |
