Position Overview
The research associate appointment in physical chemistry will be carried out in the
research program of Dr. Ofer Kedem. The candidate will work on a photopatterning research project. The candidate will be carrying out surface patterning projects and participate in maintaining good safety practices in the laboratory. This is a 7-week position expected to start on May 13, 2024, and carries a salary of $20 per hour, 37.5 hours per week.
Duties and Responsibilities
-Perform research in photopatterning method development.
-Develop and carry out quantum dot functionalization and characterization
-Use and implement safe laboratory practices
-Maintain excellent records of experiments performed
-Attend research meetings, provide research summaries, and present research
Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Must possess experience with nanomaterials patterning techniques, strong communication and analytical skills, and thorough knowledge of laboratory practices and procedures.
Ability to implement research projects.
Must be willing to work flexible hours as necessary.
