Job Summary:

USF’s Urban Agriculture minor is looking to hire a dedicated undergraduate research assistant to assist in the stewardship of the USF Community Garden

Full Job Description:


Research Assistant duties include:
1. Plan and plant Spring garden beds;
2. Maintain garden - weeding, watering, oversee irrigation, manage compost and worm bin;
3. Plan, manage, and implement weekly community work days - publicize work days, organize group tasks, and hold open garden hours;
4. Support CGO classes held in garden over Spring;
5. Maintain @USFGarden's multiple social media platforms;
6. Maintain the Gleeson library plot
Ideal candidates have experience in the USF Garden (either through classes and/or workdays), work well in collaborative situations, are self-directed, and enjoy working with the public.
