Position Description
Advertised Job Summary | This part-time temporary Research Assistant position will assist in conducting a formative evaluation to identify strategies for increasing SNAP-Ed programming in select South Carolina counties. The position is available to start as soon as possible. |

Qualifications | - Strong interpersonal skills in working with internal and external partners - Strong facilitation skills - Demonstrated commitment to equity and taking an asset versus deficit based approach - Experience professionally working with people from varied, diverse backgrounds - Strong verbal and written skills - Knowledge and skill in extracting data from secondary sources - Knowledge and skill in collecting and analyzing primary data (statistical analysis skills are not required) - Ability to work with little supervision - Ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously - Meticulous attention to detail - Dependable in following through with assigned tasks in a timely manner - Reliable transportation to be able to travel around South Carolina (reimbursement will be provided for mileage at the approved rate – currently $.677 per mile) - Flexibility to work some evenings when facilitating community feedback sessions Those with a social work, public health, or Community Health Worker background are especially encouraged to apply. |
