Under general direction, performs essential job responsibilities

• Technical Assistance
• Technical Training
• Pharmacy Support
• Husbandry Support
• Postoperative and Health Rounds
• Research Study Scheduling
• Veterinary Technician Backup
• Other Duties As Assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Knowledge of research field-related terminology; interpersonal/human relation skills; written and verbal communication skills; ability to manage work schedule, complete work by deadlines, and work without supervision; ability to operate personal computer and perform word processing

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Master’s degree in physical or natural science, public health, health education, or other health/science discipline; supplemented with two (2) years of experience

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Preferred/not required: ALAT, LAT, LATg, CVT
