The CS Research Department within the School of Computer Science is seeking a Research Assistant to join the team. The Research Assistant will work with research projects related to improving the efficacy of Private Information Retrieval using new techniques from coding theory.
Core Responsibilities:
- Follows research plans in order to collect, record, and manipulate research data. Maintains accurate and detailed research records and files.
- May test software prototypes. May interact with research subjects in order to perform job functions.
- Performs basic data analysis in order to product reports. Documents results and processes.
- Performs library research and field explorations.

Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED required.
- Bachelor's Degree preferred.
- Prior research experience preferred.
- A combination of education and relevant experience from which comparable knowledge is demonstrated may be considered.
