Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for recruitment, data collection, and supporting data management and analysis for NIH-funded projects on language learning. The position will be based in the Speech, Language and Hearing Sciences Laboratory in Indianapolis, Indiana. The position involves occasional duties outside of the laboratory (1-2 x per month), which may include travel to our university laboratory in West Lafayette, IN, and participation in community recruitment and outreach activities. This is a single year position with renewal contingent on performance and availability of funds.
Required:
- BS/BA degree in a related field (SLHS, early childhood education, cognitive science, HDFS, psychology, neuroscience, communication disorders, social work)
- Six months prior experience in a professional, volunteer, or research setting involving children in health, cognitive, and/or language-focused research.
- An equivalent combination of education and experience will also be considered.

- Ability to accommodate the communication needs of individuals across different ages, individuals from a variety of backgrounds and individuals with varying communication skills
- Ability to shift scheduled work times occasionally to accommodate weekend or after-hours research testing.
