We are seeking a Research Assistant for The Division of Oncology Quantitative Sciences at The Sidney Kimmel Comprehensive Cancer Center and the Convergence Institute at Johns Hopkins is seeking a research assistant to help with mathematical modeling and its integration with multi-omics with a focus on cancer.


Specific Duties & Responsibilities

  • Programming support.
  • Developing mathematical models of biological systems.
  • Developing new methods to integrate genomics data into these models.
  • Work closely with faculty supervision to assist in the development and implementation of methods, software, writing of results, and to provide other support for research activities as needed.

Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in related discipline.
  • Preferred, MS in mathematics, computational biology or equivalent experience.
  • Experience: Some related experience required.
  • Additional education may substitute for experience to the extent permitted by the JHU equivalency formula.
