Minimum Requirements:

Associate's degree in a related field and one or more years of related experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience. Grade 2 (Min $16.51, Mid $20.67 Max $24.77)

Position Description:

This position will be involved in experimental research that focuses on the examination of the effects of novel anti-cancer therapies in cells and animal models. The work will require standard laboratory bench-work practices, culturing of human cancer cells, and work with animal tumor models. Applicants with any level of experience with basic biochemistry and molecular biology techniques will be considered. Beyond experimental duties, this individual will be involved in laboratory maintenance and organization/ordering of lab consumables.

Preferred Qualifications :

  • Experience with Western blotting, PCR or basic molecular biology techniques
  • Knowledge of cancer biology and metabolism
  • Some laboratory or animal husbandry skill
