Job Summary:

The study that this person will be contributing towards is MOTRPAC. The Primary Investigator leading the study is Dr. Blake Rasmussen, who is leading this nationwide study in San Antonio. Under general supervision, responsible for the operation of a specialized basic science/social science research area within a recognized unit. Assists with research project tasks to include recruitment, data collection, and the day-to-day operations of research projects.

 

Job Duties:

1.      Assists in conducting research projects according to the research plan/project.

2.      Performs duties in support of research project such as scheduling research subjects, obtaining research data, organizing data, researching records, and entering data in a research database.

3.      Assists in the maintenance of information and keeps current on literature and developments in the areas of research.

4.      Trains and guides other lower-level research support personnel in techniques; explains and demonstrates instrument capabilities, operations, limitations, and outcomes.

5.      Performs all other duties as assigned.

 

Education:

Bachelor's degree in a basic science/social science is required. Kinesiology, Public Health, is highly preferred.

 

Experience:

Up to one (1) year related experience is required.

Preferred Experience:

-         Experience working on a research protocol.

-         Experience working in a clinical setting is a plus.
