Job Summary
Utilizes the nursing process for assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation to provide safe, therapeutic care. Functions as a member of the interdisciplinary and nursing teams; carries out established nursing procedures and performs related duties as required; performs nursing care for patients with more complex needs with assistance and supervision. Assists with the management of patient care administered by other members of the nursing team.

Please note: The compensation ranges listed online for roles not covered by a bargaining unit agreement are very wide, however a job offer will typically fall in the range of 80% - 120% of the established mid-point. An offer will take into consideration the experience of the final candidate AND the current salary level of individuals working at UCSF in a similar role.
For roles covered by a bargaining unit agreement, there will be specific rules about where a new hire would be placed on the range.

Required Qualifications
- Minimum of one year recent RN experience in at least one of the following areas:
- Adult Inpatient Oncology
- Pediatric Inpatient Oncology
- In an Outpatient Infusion Clinic
- The flexibility to orient and work at all UCSF Health locations
Preferred Qualifications
- Clinical RN experience in an academic medical center Acute Care Hematology/Oncology/BMT unit
- BSN
- Telemetry experience
License/Certification
- Active Registered Nurse licensure in the State of California
- Active American Heart Association CPR Certification
- Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) Chemotherapy/Immunotherapy Provider Certificate within 6 months of hire
