UW Medical Center - Montlake has an outstanding opportunity for a Pre-Lung Transplant Registered Nurse to join our Transplant Services team .

WORK SCHEDULE
80-100% day shift, plus call

DEPARTMENT DESCRIPTION
Our team of pre lung transplant RNs follow patients from the time of transplant referral to the time of transplant. Duties include referral review, coordination of lung transplant evaluation testing through UWMC and local providers, patient education including teaching a lung transplant education class, and maintaining the lung transplant waiting list.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS
Pre lung transplant RNs work closely with a multidisciplinary team of Pulmonologists, Surgeons, social workers, dieticians, program coordinators, and financial counselors.
Our Lung Transplant service is one of the largest programs in North America. We provide lung transplant care for the entire Pacific Northwest. We are proud to provide this uniquely specialized care to patients in this region. Through the dedicated work of our team, patient survival and quality of life are superior. The Nurse Coordinators play a key role in this team effort.
