Job Summary
 

The Recruitment and Engagement Coordinator plays a crucial role in identifying prospective students who are striving to achieve their academic and personal goals. It involves continuous networking with regional markets to promote the college's academic programs. Additionally, the role collaborates with college leadership, faculty, and various departments, including Career Services and Communications and Marketing, to boost enrollment and address potential and current enrollment challenges.
If this is a grant funded position, this position is time limited and 100% sponsored-funded; therefore, continued employment is contingent upon availability of grant or contract funding.


Responsibilities
 
  • Assists in the creation of sourcing strategies to identify and attract high quality candidates
  • Continuously acquires expertise in essential recruitment and retention metrics, shares in regular office team meetings, and presents action plans to improve outcomes/metrics ¿ 
  • Analyze hiring trends within the market and nationally 
  • Executes recruitment strategies to support program enrollment
  • Promotes the university¿s brand with recruitment initiatives and events 
  • Assists in the development and preparation of informational and marketing materials 
  • Actively seeks out and attends ongoing educational and growth opportunities to advance the recruitment program and initiatives
  • Educates students on academic opportunities that will enhance their ability to achieve personal and professional goals
  • Maintains and develops long-term relationships with contacts and grows a referral base
  • Coordinates recruitment advertising, including creating promotional materials and social media sourcing techniques
  • Assists with coordinating on-campus recruiting events and tracks the effectiveness of events year after year to determine the best use of department resources 
  • Represents organization at networking and recruiting activities, including presentations to schools, job fairs, conventions, career events, and other outreach initiatives
  • Creates and maintains accurate reports of recruitment and retention plans and efforts
  • Monitor key hiring metrics of program graduates, including hiring rates and locations
  • Works with supervisor and other team members towards recruitment goals

Required Qualifications
 

Educational Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree

Required Experience

  • Three (3) or more years of related work experience

Proposed Salary
 

$21.34 - $27.21 per hour

This is a non-exempt position paid on a biweekly basis.
