Description

 

The University of Tennessee is seeking a radiologist for night shift coverage for the 2nd shift at Regional One Medical Center. Regional One Medical Center is a Level I trauma center. The candidate will be a strong general radiologist and may have a fellowship in either body imaging or neuroradiology. The candidate will interpret trauma and ICU plain films, with an expected volume of 50-60 cases/night. Occasional ultrasound and emergency MRI is performed. Light interventional and MQSA are not required.

Job Requirements:

  • Medical Doctor
  • Board Certification or Board eligibility required
  • Completion of an accredited residency required and sub certifications/ training highly preferred
  • Current unrestricted licensure as a Physician in Tennessee
  • Current certification DEA number
  • Eligible for malpractice insurance
  • Relocation is not required, however the work is on-site. 

Departmental Preferences:

Must be able to work with residents/ fellows. Case mix is approximately 50% plain films, with the rest being made up of CT, US, and MRI. Compensation is consistent and comparable to other services in the region.
