Job Summary
The University of Kentucky College of Medicine is seeking clinical faculty for Internal Medicine Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine division who will primarily provide hospital-based clinical services for patients cared for at Chandler and Good Samaritan Hospitals and the Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine division’s clinical service.
Clinical service responsibilities will be divided among assignments caring for the critically ill in our Medical Intensive Care units(MICU) in the UK HealthCare hospitals, and managing patients in outpatient clinics. this position will be involved with teaching pulmonary fellows, residents and students during consult service and inpatient services and participation in the Department’s courses for medical students.
The individual will be expected to be an active participant and leader of division and department clinical activities, as well as, serve on clinical committees that enhance the care of patients and operation of clinical practice.
