Position Qualification


Position Summary
The University of Nebraska Medical Center (UNMC) College of Dentistry invites applications for full-time, tenure-leading faculty position(s) available immediately to contribute to a growing Dental Public Health focus. The primary responsibility of the successful candidate is to lead the development and integration of the Dental Public Health and contribute to the behavioral sciences curriculum as they pertain to patient-centered approaches for promoting, improving, and maintaining oral health. The successful candidate is expected to possess a track record of scholarly activity and interest in developing a funded research program in Dental Public Health, Psychosocial and Health Behavior, Health Services Research or any translational research. Additional responsibilities include outreach and service activities within the College and the University of Nebraska Medical Center.
Required Qualifications
Qualified applicants will have a terminal doctoral degree. Academic rank and salary are commensurate with qualifications and experience. The College is searching for that (those) unique individual(s) with an interest in building and growing the Dental Public Health program at the College as part of a vibrant University system.
