Job Summary:

The Psychometrist is responsible for scoring neuropsychological, intellectual, personality, academic, and/or forensic evaluations conducted by a psychologist or neuropsychologist.  This position may also assist with collecting demographic information from patients and assisting with various clerical duties such as patient scheduling, procurement of office supplies, etc.

 

Major Responsibilities / Duties / Critical Tasks:

·         Administer and score standardized tests.

·         Manage patient behavior during neuropsychological testing and evaluation.

·         Maintain accurate medical records.

·         Facilitate accurate billing by tracking and documenting service provision times.

·         Ensure the confidentiality of test results and the security of testing materials.

·         Coordinate the purchase of the necessary testing supplies and maintain test material inventories.

·         Collaborate with IT and vendor support to ensure maintenance of all testing and scoring software.

·         Assisting in clerical tasks, such as scheduling, as needed.

Qualifications

 

Required Education / Experience:

·         Bachelor degree in psychology with direct experience in neuropsychological testing. Master’s degree in clinical or counseling psychology, school psychology, or neuropsychology is preferred.
