Applies professional concepts to conduct analytical studies or projects of moderate scope and complexity to address a variety of policy, research and procedural issues. Fully analyzes issues and problems, gathers data and information, finds and evaluates alternatives and makes sound recommendations.
The Project Policy Analyst will be involved with the gathering, analyzing, and interpreting a variety of publicly available research data to answer policy-related questions. The Project Policy Analyst duties may include, but will not be limited to, helping in the design and conduct of research, the development of datasets, the implementation of research instruments, and the analysis of collected information according to established statistical methods. Functions of the job also include the preparation of reports, charts, tables, and other visual aids to interpret and communicate data and results. The Project Policy Analyst will collaborate with researchers and students with a background in oncology and public health at-large, and using established statistical and research methods, will help to evaluate a variety of health and oncology policy-related questions.
THIS IS A 1-YEAR CONTRACT APPOINTMENT.
