Position Summary:

Expectations for IT Facilities/Infrastructure PM

Coordination and collaboration with Facilities Planning (architects, interior design and construction) and IT Infrastructure teams (Desktop, Server, Network and Telecom)

Execution and tracking of estimates (includes software, hardware, and service)

Coordination of vendor contracted work.

Project resource assignment and management

Project schedule development and management

Facilities/Infrastructure project documentation (PWA and SmartSheet)

Feasibility Assessment - PM and/or Technology review

Work hours will be the standard day shift Mon - Fri with the occasional after hours or weekends as needed. May work from home as schedule allows. Ask that routine office hours be scheduled to allow face to face with infrastructure teams, Thursdays preferred.

Position Qualification:

Education

Degree / Diploma Type Program Required/Preferred (and/or)

Bachelors Information Systems Required

Masters Business Preferred

Experience

years Operations - Project Manager Required

Minimum of 1 year Leading projects in healthcare Preferred

Minimum of 1 year Leading Cerner EHR projects Preferred

Years of Experience can be related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Licensure, Certification

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification preferred; required within two years of employment in position at UHS.
