The College of Medicine Center for Faculty Advancement, Mentoring, and Engagement (FAME) develops and delivers professional development content to faculty within and beyond the College of Medicine. As a member of the FAME  team, the project manager is responsible for the initiation, planning, execution, maintenance, and closure of single-session and cohort-based professional development programs and events; works in partnership with the Associate Dean, FAME center director, faculty leaders and facilitators to understand the scope of each project, program, or event; works in partnership with the director and senior project managers to ensure consistent, quality, and timely delivery of assigned projects, programs, and events while managing competing demands of scope, schedule, cost, risk, quality, and stakeholder expectations; sets timelines, reports on progress, and completes of all associated tasks; collaborates effectively with all levels of staff, faculty, and executive leadership as required. Program/event management will require knowledge and utilization of multiple technology platforms including, but not limited to, CarmenCanvas, CarmenZoom, Qualtrics, WorkDay, BuckeyeLearn, CCME, and Microsoft 365. Programs and initiatives will range in size from small to large complex efforts in support of strategic business goals and objectives of FAME. The Project Manager will balance and coordinate priorities and demonstrate qualities of trust, teamwork, transparency, and flexibility while ensuring that every program/event is managed to maximize stakeholder and end user satisfaction. Project manager will, through all stages of program/event management, organize, implement, evaluate programs and learning activities for the center; ensure in-person and online program quality; conduct assessments and provide feedback; monitor and evaluate program effectiveness, and recommend changes for improvement. Is knowledgeable of relevant professional development resources within FAME, the College, and University. May coordinate support functions for programs/events to ensure goals and objectives are met. Most FAME programs/events are during normal business hours however, a few times a month, some events require the FAME team to begin work early mornings, evenings, and possible (but rare) weekend events. Backs up other FAME staff, as needed; other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in public health administration, higher education administration, research and measurement/data analytics, or equivalent experience; Two years of experience in project administration or management of higher education, programmatic, or event planning projects is preferred; experience with Zoom and Microsoft 365 suite of products preferred; Requires successful completion of a background check.  Selected candidate may be asked to complete a pre-employment physical including a drug screen.
