Position Summary
Provides administrative/operational support for assigned project.
***This position is Remote (within 150 miles of St. Louis, MO 63110) with periodic in office meetings.***
Job Description
Primary Duties & Responsibilities
- Negotiates single case agreements with payers/insurance.
- Assists department staff with provider relation and insurance questions.
- Attends payer meetings as the contracting provider liaison.
- Provides administrative/operational oversight of assigned project.
- Develops project goals, objectives and plans in collaboration with management.
- Oversees implementation of project plan; monitors, tracks and evaluates progress.
- May manage/oversee work of staff and/or student workers.
- Attends meetings with language and contracting negotiations with Manager.
- Conducts research, collects/analyzes data, oversees data entry.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two or more years of contracting and negotiating experience.
- Two or more years of working with managed care.
- Two or more years of proof reading and editing.
- Two or more years in management, or experience with conflict.
- Ability to multitask along with prioritizing.
- Strong communication skills.
- Accuracy and efficiency in managing work load.
- Ability to work independently and move along institutional initiatives with little supervision.
- Ability to work under pressure and with tight deadlines.
- Ability to prioritize, organize and communicate effectively.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in related field and three years of related experience or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Salary Range
$48,700.00 - $80,500.00 / Annually
The salary range reflects base salaries paid for positions in a given job grade across the University. Individual rates within the range will be determined by factors including one's qualifications and performance, equity with others in the department, market rates for positions within the same grade and department budget.
