Prevent Child Abuse Georgia (PCA GA) in the Mark Chaffin Center for Healthy Development, School of Public Health is seeking a part-time Project Coordinator who will be responsible for the routine activities associated with GA Essentials for Childhood and Georgia’s Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Plan (CANPP) statewide implementation and outreach education activities. Reporting to the Executive Director, the Project Coordinator assists and is responsible for coordinating meeting logistics, technical assistance to those implementing the theory of change, connecting training opportunities that align with objectives, handling administrative duties such as executing contracts and completing invoices, and additional administrative support to stakeholders.  This position is part-time and will work 20 hour per week.  

Duties include but are not limited to:

GA Essentials Coordination:

  • Work in tandem with the Georgia Essentials Coalition and Regional Conveners for the implementation of Georgia’s Child Abuse and Neglect Prevention Plan (CANPP)
  • Be the point lead of contact for CANPP regional conveners and the Georgia Essentials working group
  • Provide technical assistance and support of each region’s localized implementation plan which may include connecting them with concrete supports, educational resources, or subject matter expertise
  • Help invite and connect people that show interest in the regional conveners’ efforts and goals
  • Collect information and data from regional conveners to compile and report on bi-monthly and annual progress updates
  • Facilitate and/or attend various state and regional meetings to progress the implementation of the CANPP both virtually and in-person including meeting with the PACE: D2A DPH team monthly to provide updates
  • Use technology to coordinate meetings, share resources, and collect data on platforms such as Zoom, Teams, Basecamp, Google platforms, WordPress, Mailchimp, and other technology suites
  • This employee will work with the Georgia Essentials Backbone members to ensure that all regional implementation partners' data needs for CANPP implementation are being met 

GA Essentials Training Coordination & Facilitation:

  • Coordinate routine activities to support prevention training opportunities [webinars, trainings, conferences (Community Cafés, HOPE, SFG protective factors, MRT, Connections Matter, What is Prevention, Poverty, Find Help GA, etc.)]
  • Utilize the statewide trainer network by providing technical assistance to communities/stakeholders by coordinating trainers for presentations/training
  • Connect CANPP regional strategy committees to identified training opportunities
  • Facilitate trainings and training of the trainer sessions
  • Supports PCA GA Training Coordinators by matching incoming training requests with trainer
  • Provide technical assistance to statewide trainer network
  • Coordinate logistics of in-person and virtual trainings
  • Facilitate in-person metro-Atlanta trainings
  • Post-training follow up credentialing and evaluation
  • Supports curriculum updates and grant reporting in collaboration with the program manage
  • Support the coordination of large annual events which may require logistics such as space, technology, subject matter experts, food and beverage, and more

Administrative:

  • Execute contracts with entities and individuals related to CANPP implementation and other PCA Georgia operations
  • Process bills and invoices both incoming and outgoing
  • Assist with office and programmatic administrative duties such as ordering materials, training, and event preparations, and distributing resources to partners as needed
  • Manage PCA Georgia’s online store, assist customers in completing orders, and ship purchased items
  • Performs other related duties as assigned

Qualifications

: 

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree and two years of related experience; or high school diploma or GED and six years of related experience; or a combination of education and related experience.
