Under the supervision of the HHRI Executive Director, the Program Manager will support HHRI's strategic and operational goals and program development within the part-time scope of the position. The program manager will: Manage HHRI communications including email, social media, updates to website, membership listservs/announcements, and the quarterly newsletter. Identify key partnerships, schedule meetings, manage agendas for HHRI's relationships with academic, government, and community-based partners. Scope funding opportunities in the field of refugee and immigrant health. Support preparation of grant applications, materials, and budgets. Contribute to grant reports including data aggregation and basic analysis. Support preparation of materials on HHRI activities. Support HHRI's training programs in best practices in asylum medicine and human rights by calendaring and advertising training events with diverse learners, collating and disseminating training material, and evaluating the impact of trainings.
Uses skills as a seasoned, experienced professional with a full understanding of analytical practices, policies and procedures; researches, analyzes and develops solutions to a wide range of issues. Demonstrates good judgment in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions. Primarily deals with policies, programs and proposals which are complex in nature and diverse in scope. Develops new programs, policies or procedures for possible implementation.
