HERE IS WHAT YOU WILL DO  

Responsible for managing an electronic compliance portal for the Federal Select Agent Program (eFSAP) including uploading documents and coordinating/communicating with file manager. Assists with ensuring compliance with relevant training for registered users. Assists with documenting manual and plan reviews, obtaining signatures, and dissemination. Must understand the federal select agent program administration requirements.

Manage all aspects and documentation regarding security risk assessment requests for GSU including assisting researchers with completing the security risk assessment application, coordination of fingerprinting, and submission of applications to the FBI.

Manage and streamline enrollment in the Suitability Assessment Program including assisting researchers with completing the application, coordinating with HR to initiate background checks, gathering references, and drug testing.  Coordinating with the EAP Office to schedule psychological evaluations.  Preparing enrollment packets for Suitability Assessment Committee (SAC) review.

Providing administrative support to the Dual Use Research of Concern Institutional Review Entity (IRE), High Containment Subcommittee, and Suitability Assessment Committee (SAC) including scheduling meetings, preparing agendas, drafting minutes, and post-meeting communication of action items to researchers.

Ensures exceptional customer service in meeting University needs in these areas. Perform other duties as assigned pertaining to office administration needs, documentation, and training.

Qualifications

Minimum Hiring Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree

Preferred Hiring Qualifications: 

Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.  Effective organizational skills and attention to detail.  Knowledge of computers and software (i.e. Microsoft Word, Teams, Excel, and Adobe).
